Destiny 2's endgame has always been the part the game will not fill for you. Raids take six, dungeons take three, and neither has matchmaking — finding people has been a Guardian's own problem since 2017.

Finding a clan after the final update

Bungie shipped the last live-service content update in June 2026. The game is still online and still playable, but it is no longer being added to, and that changed who is here: the Guardians still logging in are the ones who want to run this content, not the ones chasing a seasonal deadline.

For clan-finding that is genuinely good news. A clan built now is not a rush to clear a raid before the next expansion resets everything. It is a group of people who like the same activities and keep showing up for them, which is the version of a Destiny clan that always survived longest anyway.

Clans and fireteams solve different problems

A fireteam is for tonight — six people, one raid, a start time. A clan is so that you are not assembling a fireteam from strangers every week. Most Guardians want both, and they are separate pages here for that reason.

What is the best Destiny 2 clan finder?

The useful test is whether it shows you clans that are actually active, rather than a directory of names. Look for rosters with recent activity and posted sessions attached, check that the clan plays on your platform and in your timezone, and treat a clan that has not run anything in a month as dormant regardless of its member count.

Are Destiny 2 clans still worth joining?

If you want to run raids, dungeons or Trials, yes — those activities have no matchmaking, so a clan is the difference between playing them and not. If you only run playlist activities, a clan is optional. The end of live service did not change that calculation; it mostly removed the seasonal urgency around it.
